The technology, a proprietary new molecule created with ionic silver stabilized in citric acid, called silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC), is found to be safe, tasteless, and odorless and could eliminate the threat of dangerous water-born bacteria, such as cholera, which are prevalent in African countries. Initial testing concluded that as little as two ounces of SDC could treat 200 gallons of water in just minutes with no harm to the environment and no toxic side effects.
